Lar and I had the best time in Ketchikan, Alaska. The sun was shining. We were told that they got about 17 feet of rainfall annually and had only about 30 days with sun a year. We got a 100% clear blue sky. It was amazing! Here are a handful of photos from that day (Sept 16, 2012). On our visit there, we stopped by the totem village, toured a salmon cannery and tours the bay on a boat. I have added more photos online at https://www.facebook.com/KrisMazyPhotography
Larry and I took a trip for our 15th Anniversary on an Alaskan Cruise. What a BLAST it was and we are ready for the next one!!! I am going to share a few pictures every couple of days on the blog because… well… I took over 8000 and am still going through them.
One of the days we traveled through Skagway and up into British Columbia on a train. Then, we got on a tour bus and drove up into the Yukon. We drove up to Carcross and Caribou Crossing where we had fantastic views and got to kiss sled dog puppies! My entire series of Alaska and Canadian photographs will be on sale in the beginning of October.
I LOVE going to football games for the local kids. I remember watching my husband play while we were in high school and it was one of my my most fond memories. I have had the honor to be invited to take photos of Glassford Hill Middle School’s 2011 Varsity team and I am having a BALL taking photos of these up and coming tweens and teens!
All of the team photos will be online for sale at my website: http://www.krismazy.com
I have been officially booking clients for family photos! I LOVE taking photos (why I went back to school originally)
I am offering a FACEBOOK FAN SPECIAL – So be sure to “LIKE” me on there!!!
As I am ending my semester and my portfolio class, I am starting to take more and more outdoor portraits. (And since the weather is getting nicer, except for that FREAK snowstorm this last weekend). Here are a few of my latest outdoor portraits. 🙂 I promise soon I will be back to my regularly scheduled programing!!!
I got a chance to go our to Watson Lake here in Prescott, AZ kidless. I had such a GREAT time hiking around the lake, taking photos with different apertures. I took photos of different local plant life with a view of the gorgeous lake behind it.
I love taking photos… seriously… why else would I be going back to school to get my Art degree and Photography certificate. It’s even better when you have a subject that WANTS to be there. Elly is always so much fun taking photos of… and the best part is that she will listen and do whatever she is told (without a yucky face).
It had been raining for DAYS and I wanted to take advantage of the cloud cover and some new techniques that I had been reading up on.
