I finished another semester at Liberty Univ. I have only one more to go for my B.S. in Educ. WOWWIE! I am taking a class this semester at Yavapai to fill in the “blank” that I needed. Last semester, I ended up with a 3.0 for my 5 classes. Not my best… but far better than my worse ever.
My dad’s website at www.mazys.com has become a full-time job with adding new items and advertising and of course orders. Jen and I are having a great time working together on it. I am taking care of all of the programing on the site and Jen is taking care of all of the used guns on GunBroker.
My photo business has picked up and I LOVE taking photos for work. This week I get to “play with” a newborn… AHHH how I miss that age in my house. Littles are so fun to photograph. I have taken quite a few family shots and senior photos… fitting them in between classes and kids activities. I have an ad coming out in the new Prescott coupon book in July for 12 months!!!
Larry and I are still on the foster care list and have had a few kids in and out. We are waiting for that “call” for another set of kiddlings in our house this summer still.
Shelby and Griffen got to spend a week up in Idaho with Larry’s brother, Steve and his wife, Anza and their 2 kiddlings (Brinlee and Quinton). Last week we all met up in Las Vegas along with all of our other kiddlings and Larry’s mom and Anza’s mom and picked up our oldest two to come home. It was quite an experience taking Berlyn into casinos with all of the lights and noise… the carpet patterns actually bugged him the most. We did take all of the kids out and walk the strip. How things have changed since Lar and I went there years ago. Berlyn was fascinated by the “ships” in front of Treasure Island and wanted those Pirates to come out and fight… because that is what he says pirates do.
|Visiting with my niece and nephew was SO FUN!|
We brought the kids home and had to stop at Degaldillos in Seligman. It is a Route 66 Ice Cream (shake) shop. We always try to stop there. They have even added a few “CARS” – Berlyn was in HEAVEN!
Last month we took the middles and my nephews out shooting. They did awesome with their targets!
Here is a photo of El shooting a BB Gun. Some of the boys got to shoot 22s as well. My sister and I practiced with AR-15s and other firearms to brush up a little.
THe kids have gone back to geocaching after taking about 6 months off. We are up to over 160 family finds and they even got Papa Gary in Idaho hooked on it! We have been “caching” at least twice a week and hope to hit 250 finds by the end of summer. We have even set some new caches local and bought some travel bugs to watch them “travel” around the world. Our plans are to study the different places that they go.
