Luke 1:33 -And he shall reign over the house of  Jacob forever, and of his kingdom there shall be no end.

One of the things that I like my children to know is that you are never too old to try something new. Our Advent message for the 7 is exactly that. Try something new today.  This could be trying a new activity or craft. Try a new style or a new recipe in your kitchen.

Today, Rowan tried out a new online class with Outschool. Here is a link to the classes. There is everything from cooking to Minecraft and Lego building, from a new language lesson to forensic science. And these are all for kids!!!

So for today, have you or your kids try something new. Start reading a new book series, or a movie series. Or have them try out an online class or a new recipe.  Do it together. After all, that is what Christmas is all about TOGETHER! (And her pumpkin butter and hot chocolate that she made was GREAT!!!)

Rowan taking a new online cooking class.

Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.
