In my ongoing journey for finding fun and inexpensive crafts for my crew to create this summer, here is a fun project that we created.
As a child, I created these fun items. I remember even having a hatband for my cowboy hat made out of pony beads and leather.
Keychain Ingredients:
- Pony Beads (We are using an average of about 30 or so on each
- Keyring
- Concho
- Leather
- Scissors
There are so many different patterns and other items that you can make with a little bit of leather (or even plastic) and pony beads.

Tips: Take a little more leather than you think that you need. If the concho hole runs sideways, you can “x” the leather inside the concho. End your strand by trying.

We found this pretty cool video (not by us) on Youtube too! Check it out!
