Fun Summer Craft – making simple bead earrings

You can follow our family on youtube on our many foster-adopt homeschooling adventures

In my ongoing journey for finding fun and inexpensive crafts for my crew as summer arrives, here is a fun project that we created.

I love how crafty my kids all are. My girls love making their own jewelry with beads and even shrinky dinks. Today we made a set of beaded earrings for Rowan. She absolutely loves making her own jewelry out of things that we have here at the house.

We picked up a handful of different variety packs of the 6/0 seed beads. There are many different colors to choose from. I love using this size as they are a little bit bigger than the 2mm beads that are so little and harder to use.

You will need needle-nosed pliers, seed beads, flat nail headpins, and fishhook earring ear wires. (for this set, I used a little larger bead for the end of the larger length.
