Classic Farmhouse Quiche

Ingredients:

  • 1 prepared pie crust

  • 6 large eggs

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, Swiss, or your favorite)

  • 1 cup cooked ham or bacon, chopped

  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh spinach or other greens

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Place the pie crust in a pie dish and crimp the edges.

  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs and heavy cream.

  4. Stir in the cheese, meat, spinach, salt, and pepper.

  5. Pour the egg mixture into the pie crust.

  6. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the quiche is set and the top is golden brown.

  7. Let cool slightly before slicing. Serve warm or at room temperature.
